Mr. DeAngelo Hired as Next Principal at Center Intermediate

The Boardman Board of Education approved hiring Chad DeAngelo as the next principal at Center Intermediate School, effective August 1, 2024.

DeAngelo has been an assistant principal at Center Intermediate for the last three years and has been an educator in the Boardman Schools since 2011. He replaces Mike Masucci, who resigned last month after thirty years in public education.

"I am very humbled and grateful to the Board, as well as Superintendent Saxton and Superintendent Neifer for this opportunity!  I cannot wait to continue the growth of our staff, students, and families at BCIS," said DeAngelo.  

A Boardman alumni from the Class of 2006, DeAngelo served as a science teacher at BHS, as well as an assistant swim coach for nearly a decade. As assistant principal he assisted in the planning, development, organization, coordination, and supervision of instructional programs and activities at Center Intermediate School.
