This marks the 10th year of an incredible partnership between Boardman Subaru and Glenwood Junior High. Through the years, Boardman alumnus and dealership owner Rob Fellman and his team have supported everything from our Natural Habitat Garden to science books, school supplies and now classroom resources for teachers!

What a great performance from the Boardman Spartan Marching Band today, as they helped kick off Opening Day at the Canfield Fair.
Section leaders played the National Anthem at the Opening Ceremony, where Spartan Alum Bernie Kosar was among the dignitaries on the stage.
The Traditional Band Show at the Grandstand was filled with wonderful music from 14 bands across the Valley-- and in this "100th Anniversary Year" of the Boardman Marching Band- we could not be more Spartan proud!!

The students were called out of class thinking they might be in trouble, but instead Superintendent Chris Neifer, Mr. Cardillo, and members of the Boardman Board of Education were waiting with certificates honoring them for earning perfect scores on this year’s state math assessment.
Congratulations to Jensen, Emilia, Subhan, Jack, Kevin, Connor, Steve, and Charley on this outstanding achievement! Kudos as well to their proud teachers: Mrs. Snyder, Mrs. Morris, Mrs. Paulini, Ms. Mohl, and Mrs. Hughes.

West Boulevard Principal Al Cervello, five West Blvd. elementary teachers, some of our Spartan athletes and cheerleaders and Sparty himself were at Burlington's new store early this morning for the store's ribbon cutting.
As part of the opening, Burlington and Adopt a Classroom made a $5,000 Donation for West Boulevard. Each teacher will receive a portion of funds in their adopt a classroom account to fill classroom needs.

West Boulevard Elementary second graders had an unforgettable field trip today to the Boardman Fire Station on Market Street! 🚒 Students got an up-close look at a fire truck, learned about the tools firefighters use to keep the community safe, and even climbed the training tower. The highlight of the day? Watching their teachers, Mrs. Hammerton and Miss Krasnasky, take an exciting ride in the bucket of the ladder truck! A big thank you to our local firefighters for an engaging and educational experience!

Miss Julie, a bee keeper herself, brought a real hive, and all kinds of information--This natural science presentation brought to all the students at West by the PTA this week.
Today, kindergarten and the 3rd graders learned about all the bees that make up a colony, from the queen and drone, to the worker bees. Then they closely examined a real life hive looking for the queen.
Tomorrow, 1st and 2nd grade will enjoy the lesson
